a glorious happy place.......awaits

prince edward island

To see a world in a grain of sand,

And Heaven in a wild flower,

Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,

And Eternity in an hour.

One of my favourite Blake poems - thank you for posting it.

Mind if I pull up a chair to visit for a while? I'll be happy to supply the wine and plenty of chat.... it's been so long.

I finally caught up and read your past posts... shed a few tears over Jenny's story, and rah'ed over Martha's achievements. Please tell her I said: "YOU GO GIRL!" I'm so proud of her!

Thanks for the Blake poem.... I was able to escape to the beach today, if only for a moment.... and I feel so ralaxed in doing so.

Your blog (and photos) allow me to a visit that is so special to me.
I grew up going to PEI and have a head swarming with memories because of this photo.
Thank you for lifting my heart.

Caroline.....I had it written in my little book of scribblings...when I chose the pic today, it seemed to fit. I love it too.

Ellen.....you have been one busy catering caterer havent you? I'm glad you're back....it's always nice to see your smiling comments. And one day, I will see your smiling face...... perhaps it will be sitting on the dune beaches of PEI?

Anna.......thank you. I'm glad you liked it.......it was inspired by Paul's post.

Hi Judy.......glad you liked. Now that I have a wild and crazy digital camera this year, I will take many shots of PEI this summer when we visit there. It is truly a magical place. the Blake poem captures the feeling I have when we visit....

Hi Tori! Did you know that Rainbow Valley in Cavendish closed? I bet you went there many times as a child?
Maybe you need to start planning a little trip across the bridge to Avonlea soon? If you do, make a detour to Fredericton for some raspberry cordial on my back deck!. :)

Hi Deb.....well thank you.....spiritual tranquility and a rant or two....... I think that's balanced writing? :)

Have a good weekend everyone.

hey ricercar.....Prince Edward Island is where my "muses" returned.....where I found my words again. It is a beautiful place .... I highly recommend a trip.

Edinburgh (where you are?) is also stunning...in a very different way. When I was there, I felt a sense of home while walking through the beautiful park downtown.
