You haven't looked at me that way in years
You dreamed me up and left me here
How long was I dreaming for
What was it you wanted me for
You haven't looked at me that way in years
Your watch has stopped and the pond is clear
Someone turn the lights back on
I'll love you til all time is gone
You haven't looked at me that way in years
But I'm still here.
Tom Waits

Good song and awesome photo. Did you take it?

Hi Katie. I heard the song today....so sad......it kind of captured February cold and lonely. I was quite taken by his lament.

Em....yes i did take the photo. Its one of the flowers from my Valentines Day bouquet.......I laid it in the snow on the front lawn.....i liked the lighting and the craziness of the petals.

Beautiful song and photo, ever reminding us that we are responsible for our own actions/in-actions, and much of the time, it is all about perception.

Have a good week.

Hi K and Layla.... good to see you, well sort of...

Barbara....it is all about perception, tied in with our imperfections

Paul.....Waits has a way, with his soulful smokey weathered voice to betray his vulnerability. I think that's why he can easily get under one's skin. maybe? :) glad you're out there.....
