disarming.....

Just one more war, we will find peace.

Just one more war, we will conquer evil.

Just one more war, we will eradicate hatred.

One more

One more..............

One more......................

Just one more evil person swinging from a noose.............

Is the world a better place today now that Hussein is dead?

Who's next?

What's next?

Is it not time to try out a new plan?

"If we could read the secret history of our enemies,
we should find in each man's
life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility"

So well-stated Dana ... we do need to try out a new plan, because the old one sure as hell isn't working.

Wonderfully relevant Longfellow quote as well.

Keep writing, keep you passion.

Happy New Year, Dana.

Much peace & love,
Deborah

My first opportunity to finally get over here to say hello after such a long absence... and I find the peace symbol staring me in the face. Yes, my friend we must have been seperated at birth somehow, as that was my wish for Christmas this year (and every year), and I finally answered your question on my blog last night. We do have like minds, no doubt.

Hey Layla.......yes......I wrote down that quote a long time ago in my journal....it seemed apt to post it now.

Hi Robert.....humanity is complicated, and yet why does it have to be so? I don't know.

Deborah...... wish I knew what the new plan could look like.

Ellen.... welcome back friend. Boy, you've been missed. Just left a comment on your blog. Glad to see you're back online........sorry to hear about the pains in your foot.

So true, what good is war anyways?

There is no end to the destruction of humanity and more bloodshed is not the answer. Possibly if we could grind our weapons to nothing and learn to accept one another on a global scale - we might get along better - until then - well, I'll give peace a chance.
