Rowboat wannabe

Its surprising how well a little boat can carry you over big waves. Sure, it would be much easier if what you're sitting in is bigger than a bailing bucket. However, you can still ride the waves if you just relax a bit, whistle a tune and go with the tides. Prayer helps too. And for God's sake, don't forget the oars or you'll be out there floating around forever. Sometimes you need to get your feet planted on solid ground. Sometimes it takes a bit of rowing to reach the shore.
Don't you just love this little boat? What character!

i so agree with you
i happy colour for sure and very cute.
Great picture and yes in life little boats can go with the flow of the big waves of the ocean. Boats and we are able to do that. REminds me of when we went on a fishing boat from the mainland of Malaysia to tioman island on the south chinese sea. The waves were high as houses and they had to put the motor off when going up with the wave. I've never been so sick though
The little boat is great and this was a wonderful metaphor you used.
I do love this little, happy boat!! nice metaphor :)
xx,
deb
sometimes its good to bob along for a wee while, look at the scenery and decide which way to go and then.....get hold of those oars (they are always there - somewhere) and paddle like hell!
! haven't stopped by for a while - beautiful images and thought-provoking words as always :)
