The the boldfaced moon followed us home tonight.....not in a sneaky manner like it does sometimes when it teases you with peaks behind the clouds, or when it only gives you a partial half-monty looksee. No tonight, it flashed it's fullness, courting a swaggering sense of bravado. You couldn't miss it, the brassy bugger.

I am dying to get my new camera or the one I want any way. Just for pictures like this
Great photo Dana. Crazy things seem to happen when there is a full moon :)
Shaz.....I love my camera. It goes with me wherever I go now. I was such a hold out for such a long time. Now I can't imagine life without one.
Gypsy....CRAZY things!
Oh, what a great photo of the bold moon!
Lovely photo, Dana. We saw a similar view tonight - just with wisps of cloud over it - on the way home. I need to carry my camera with me - but then I would also need time to stop and take the photos when I see them, and that usually wouldn't happen; I always seem to be rushing from one place to another! Glad you can take the photos and share themw ith us all here.
Great picture, followed by great words
Tara......thanks. The colour of the sky was more muted mauve with pinks in it. For whatever reason, the pic came out in a deep purple, which I liked.
I couldn't believe how perfectly round the moon was last night.
Caroline.....I took the photo from my street right after we got home from work. There have been many times that I wished I had stopped to take a picture and didn't, but I am making myself take the time because it's so pleasurable. It's like a quick break in the middle of reality....... :) Since then, I have found that my observations have changed. I seem to always be framing a shot while I'm looking at something.
Tuck that camera in your purse and try it! It really does give me a boost.
Marja...thanks. I've always thought of the moon as male for some reason.......a cheeky one too.
