“Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves,

and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.”

Antoine de Saint-Exupery
We adults are pretty dopey arent we? So often we forget the lessons learned, especially the biggies we learned as kids. It's good to surround ourselves with these lovable anklebiters every now and then to be re-educated on those lifelessons...you know the ones which end with us realizing the important things in life........??

too true.... I learn more from my kids than I'd like to admit... and certainly more from the kids I have the privilege to work with....more about life and death and coping and love...and hope and faith...all the biggies...

yes...me too. I often go back to the work I did with kids at the rehab centre I worked at when I'm in a frame of mind where I am thinking too far ahead, or if I'm overwhelmed with the petty life stuff.....

my own kids too......they keep me grounded.

cheers to you.

Oh no, now I discover that you are a fan of "le petit prince" too? You are just way too cool:-) One of my favourite books ever -- I've been trying to get Boo to listen to the french version (to no avail, yet, unfortunately:-)

Love this photo and the subjects in it. Feeling weak at moments to jump head first into the whole mothering thing...oh boy!
