when the stars align....

twinkling stars settling in draped pitch darkness
one young man stood on a stage
guitar and voice....
lingering in a reminiscent ballad
from a place far far away.... inside the grace of an echo.
he took me there with him...
it was magical.

kay... you come too.... what a magical place...

Deb... AND YOU! We could make arrangements for a bunch of bloggers to meet there for a weekend of wonder. I know you'd love it.

Sarah.... Welcome!! I wrote this from the internet cafe on Sat. after being blown away by one particular song Eddie Johns played. It hit my heart....hadn't heard it in years and is a very special one in my life. It was actually the first "thin" moment (of many) I experienced at GB when he sang Phil Oches' Changes. I surprised him too when I had a chance to speak to him after his gig. He told me I was the only one who had ever commented on the song. He had never met anyone who knew it.
I loved meeting you....and we'll be in touch. I'll visit your blog soon. xx

Gilly....I'm struggling to find "me words" It was magical and brilliant at the same time as it was difficult and challenging. I'm sitting in a blur right now...!
