I look at this photo and a few stories and captions start stirring in my word obsessed imagination. Before I choose one avenue, I would love YOU to share with me the ideas conjured up in your imagination when you look at it. Do you have an idea for a story, or a caption? Help me out on my 900th posting. And remember, first unfiltered thoughts are always best to go with.
c'mon! you know you wanna............

How cool that we get to share in this amazing milestone! I'm so happy for you - and find myself selfishly wishing more many more multiples of 900.
First, my name literally means "my vineyard", so this image is especially meaningful to me.
Second, instead of saying cheers when we clink glasses, we say l'chaim, which is Hebrew for "to life".
So my caption is "to life", because it's shared experiences like our blogs that add to the richness of life that's so evident in this photo.
Carmi....you always write the nicest things! Thank you.....and may we continue to share our love of writing, photography and blogging for a long long time.
L'chaim, Carmi. a rich bountiful one!
"Here's To You!" and,
"Celebrate!"
Congratulations, my dear...900 posys! FANTASTIC! (I'm somwhere around 750+....
This is really an amazing milestone, Dana....And I CONGRATULATE you and wish you---at the very least---another 900 Times 10! Bravo!
Thank you Naomi....I honestly don't know how it so quickly crept up to 900...could it be an addiction to the words swirling around in my head like an itch one has to scratch all the time?
I'm stoked!
Hmmmm..... I see a woman who is driven to drink by the love of her life (who is not reciprocating).
Happy 900th!
Century Club!
reflected landscapes shared over a glass of red
congratulations on 900!!
The amazing thing about your 900th post is how short none of them are!
Your posts are thoughtful, expressive, sometimes emotionally draining, sometimes uplifting: never neutral. And they average what? 1000 words? 10000?
So, 900 posts of deep, and meaningful, and of fun and frivolity. Not a single boring one amongst them that I've found!
Wow! Congratulations!

richess, flavor, enjoyment,a cup that runneth over. May this 900th post bring you delight as you reflect by looking at the glass and the memories it evokes. Hope those are some cheerful words for you dearest dana!! Btw, did you get my email i sent you a few weeks back?? Here's to the next 900!!
Judy...you are on the same track as me...was thinking something most definately happens after that wine was consumed. now, what does that say about us?
Carrie....now, I can only imagine one person leaving that caption. Is this the past prez of the Steve Martin fan club? Could it be the one and the same... D2 Dynamo?
Century Club? With WINE?? You go girl! Just stay away from golfclub changerooms. I hear the octegenarians have been known to hit on you.
Katie...thanks.....lots of reflections were happening around me while I was taking photos of wine glasses and various other still life items......Thank God for patient friends who allow me to pull my camera out to mess around with at anytime.
Nice N.....I have smoothed out the top of my laptop keys in the process of writing them too. Thank you. I don't know what they average in length. When I look back in the archives though, I am very surprised all of that has spilled out of me at such a rate. Who knew? I sure didn't. In fact it makes me wonder what else could be found in my pointy little brain I may have lost years ago? Perhaps if I keep emptying it, I will find the key to the fountain of youth or something or at least the recipe to my favourite dessert.
ya just never know........
robert....I did receive your email, and i'm sorry I neglected to reply.......will do tonight.
thanks for your suggestions here....and thank you for sticking with me here on this writing journey.
What a wonderful picture, there is a whole landscape inside that glass.
Crack open another bottle and here's to No 1,000
All the best
David
the piano has been drinking...not me
David......yes, and the landscape vista behind that glass....the real one? It was stunning.
Paul......sing us a song, you're the Piano man, sing us a song tonight.....well we're all in the mood for a melody. You've got us feeling alright.
