A U2 Morning........

The sunrise this morning wasn't bursting with colour. Rather, it was subdued. But as soon as the sun was up over the horizon, it shone with blinding brilliance.......warming my eyes, warming my spirits. It was the nod I needed to dust off my fog........to prepare for a beautiful day. Just in time to be me. I will wear my orange scarf ..... a taste of the colour I have to offer.

"It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away
It's a beautiful day"

"What you don't know, you can feel it somehow"

It's been a beautiful two days in a row here. So glad to see the sun and feel the warmth. Why did I ever think I needed a sweatshirt to wear outside? Oh yeah... I've been up since 3 AM, and had to leave by 5.
Thank goodness my week has ended for deliveries... all I have to do is monitor the phones, put up some kind of post, and finish cleaning the house.... maybe a nap is what I need first though, huh?

Best of luck on the job interview!

Here's to the beautiful days, those that are apparent from the start and those that sneak up and surprise us from nowhere.

Hope the interview went well - have a lovely weekend, Katie

What was in Emerson said?

'Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything that is beautiful, for beauty is God's handwriting - a wayside sacrament.
Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky, in every flower, and thank God for it as a cup of blessing.'

I think he knew a thing or two about beauty...

Hi Ellen.....busy week, yes. The interview went very well from my vantage point....we'll see.

Katie.....warmish sunny days in November always seem like such a gift don't you think? One always has to be prepared for the deep chill to happen at anytime around here.....so when the warmth of the sun pierces through, it always feels like a burst of energy

Paul.....Emerson drapes his thought provoking words so beautifully. Here are two others.....the first one I need to print out and stick on my mirror to remind me......God seemed to have forgotten to offer me much of it.......:)

"Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience."

And the second......which made me smile too.........

"Beware when the great God lets loose a thinker on this planet."
