humanity

"The person in misery does not need a look that judges and criticizes but a comforting presence that brings peace and hope and life and says: 'you are a human person: important, mysterious, infinitely precious, what you have to say is important because it flows from a human person; in you there are those seeds of the infinite, those germs of love... of beauty which must rise from the earth of your misery so humanity be fulfilled. If you do not rise then something will be missing... Rise again because we all need you... be loved beloved.'"
Jean Vanier.

Dustin....good to see you. It is a beautiful quote isn't....full of feeling. I do admire Jean Vanier tremendously. Have you read any of his books? YOu would love Becoming Human. He has a new book out too, just released.

m2p...judgement is a terrible disease isn't it? I love the last line...

charles....I will use the last line on you "Rise again because we all need you....be loved, beloved...." Show your priest that quote. I bet he knows it.

Mark...you said it....especially when misery has come a callin'

He'll tell you all about Jean Vanier and the wonderful work he is doing. It's a great story Charles. I know you'd be interested.
