Lost souls
worn soles
school boys in blue
cellphone talking
pensive walking
lover's floating through.
Squirrels chasing
runners lacing
little girls a twirling
hot dog eating
families meeting
fallen leaves a swirling.
Soothing nannies
funky grannies
pushing little ones
tourists gawking
artists hawking
portraits to be done.
Taxis blaring
friends sharing
singing birds up high
hiphop dancing
horses prancing
under a clear blue sky.
Tai chi motion
deep devotion
convictions they remark
toddlers stumbling
homeless mumbling
in my corner of the park.
